Is this the official Delhi Metro, RRTS, Nagpur Metro, or Pune Metro website?
No. MetroMarg is an independent, unofficial route planner. It has no affiliation with DMRC, NCRTC, or MAHA-METRO. For live train status, service alerts, or lost-and-found, use the operator's own app or website.
How accurate are the time and fare estimates?
Fares come from each operator's own published rates or fare charts, so they're exact wherever that data is public (Pune Metro's isn't yet, and we say so rather than guess). Journey times are estimates and can vary a little with crowding and how long you take to change platforms.
Can I buy a metro ticket on this site?
Not directly. This site doesn't sell tickets. A route result links to the operator's own official ticketing channel: DMRC's WhatsApp number for Delhi Metro, the Namo Bharat Connect app for RRTS, and MAHA-METRO's own WhatsApp numbers for Nagpur and Pune. A journey crossing two networks shows one link per operator, since they're separate tickets.
What is RRTS, and is it the same as a metro?
No. RRTS (branded Namo Bharat) is semi-high-speed regional rail between Delhi and Meerut, run by NCRTC, not a city metro. Near Meerut, its track is shared with the local Meerut Metro, which stops at every station on that stretch while RRTS trains run express.
Which cities does MetroMarg cover?
Delhi Metro, the Delhi–Meerut RRTS, Nagpur Metro, and Pune Metro today. More Indian networks are being verified and added: accuracy comes before coverage, so a city ships once its data checks out, not before.
How do I share a route with someone?
Every route result has a Share button. It gives you a WhatsApp message with the full journey and a direct link, or you can just copy the link.
What does 'fewest interchanges' mean, and why would I pick it over the fastest route?
It's the route with the least line-changing, even if it takes a bit longer. Useful with heavy luggage, during rush hour, or if you'd rather stay on one train than navigate a busy interchange platform.
Why does a route sometimes show "fare varies" instead of a number?
That happens when a journey mixes the Airport Express Line with the regular Delhi Metro network (DMRC doesn't publish a simple combined fare for that case), or for a small number of Pune Metro station pairs where the official fare chart itself was inconsistent or silent. We show the honest answer instead of guessing; check the operator's app or a station counter for the exact fare.
Can I plan a route from Rapid Metro Gurgaon or the Airport Express Line?
Yes, both are in the network. Search any station on either line the same way you would a regular metro station.
Can I plan a journey between two different networks, like a Delhi Metro station and a Meerut RRTS station?
Yes. Search both stations as usual: if they're on different networks, the planner finds the fastest combination through a real physical transfer point (like Anand Vihar, where Delhi Metro and RRTS share a station complex) and shows both legs with their own fares, since they're separate tickets.
Where does the Pune Metro fare come from?
Transcribed from Maha Metro's own official fare chart. A handful of station pairs aren't shown because that chart itself was inconsistent about them — we'd rather show nothing than guess which reading was right, so those show route and time only.
